How to Replacing the DLP Chip?

Cleaning the Workspace and Removing the Back Panel – To start with, using a dried out rag, clean off any dust on the television, its screen, and the certain area you will work directly into prevent some of it from entering the tv screen. Take it off by firmly taking out all the screws holding it in place and disconnecting any cables, and access the motherboard. Put the motherboard back in place, replace the heatsink and plug all of the wires in their original sockets. Place the optical light engine back in the television and connecting all of its wires as well. Finally, put the service plate back into place. Be careful, if you did not seat the DLP chip properly you will see the vertical lines appear on the screen when you turn the television back on. Don’t worry, you must repeat the process until you reach the DLP chip again and carefully align it in its designated slot.
