If security is your concern, you will be glad to know that the AS1002T features built- in encryption engines, allowing data to be completely protected from the moment they are first stored on the NAS. The hardware encryption engine also features read speeds of over 39MB/s and write speeds of over 31MB/s.
Installing the AS1002T could not be simpler. Installing, removing, or replacing new hard drives are made easier, thanks to its toolless design.
Not only is the AS1002T quiet, it also consumes less power than you think. While in disk hibernation, the AS1002T consumes only 6.6W of power. Under normal operating conditions it only consumes 19.4W of power. This effectively lowers the total cost of ownership of the AS1002T.
