The JBL Everest Elite 300 is a very nice, modern design on-ear headphones that gives a minimalistic look which should allow it to go well with almost anything. The Everest Elite 300 feature hidden hinges that allow you to fold the ear cups in for storage. You can control volume, start/stop playback, and take calls by the controls on the rear of either ear cup.
JBL Headphones App provides more control and personalization of your listening experience with this free App. You can create custom EQ settings and access all other headphone settings and features through your mobile device. The App allows you to fine-tune the degree of noise cancellation by adjusting how sensitive to the environmental/external noise. The app also offers a sound calibration feature that automatically calibrates the sound of the headphones which best match for your ears can hear. Honestly, I didn’t feel that it made a big difference from sound calibration feature.
The JBL Everest Elite 300 has the ability to reproduce your music in a natural sounding, more realistically. These headphones do a pretty good job just as they are, as they offer a good amount of depth, detail, and warmth. We were impressed with what they picked up good details in both the strings and the percussion instruments while still keeping good separation from vocals. Be blown away by the cleanest, most authentic version of your music that you’ve ever heard
These headphones perform at their best all the time, generate substantial bass and give you highly enjoyable renditions of pop, jazz, rock and electronic music. It also has a forward nature, bringing vocals and mids range to the front of any presentation. It gives good details for jazz instrumentals, has more than enough power for rock & roll, and a good performer for vocals, so the JBL Everest Elite 300 performs very well for any genre of music.
