The LG 65EF9500 is 65-Inch 4K Ultra HD Flat Smart OLED TV from LG, that resolved several issues with an earlier 55-inch UHD OLED TV (LG 55EG9600). The LG 65EF9500 has wonderful high-definition picture quality, with benchmark-setting black levels. It also has amazing UHD performance, and very good 3D also has a virtually unlimited viewing angle. This model comes with LG’s webOS 2.0 that allows you to access content via a set of graphic tiles arrayed across the lower part of the screen.
Excellent HD image detail, LG 65EF9500 had excellent high-definition picture quality with the finest detail. The images completely looking natural thanks to a very good color accuracy. Not only natural looking, the images also great depth and dimension looking from its excellent contrast, supported by the deepest black levels from a flat panel display. The brightness level was good too, so this model is a suitable choice for most rooms. This TV offer advanced Internet capability, allow you to access to a library of applications via “LG Content Store” and a full Web browser.
Unlimited viewing angle, the LG 65EF9500 has an unlimited viewing angle overall, better than that of most LCDs. It will provide fewer viewing conditions problems than most LCD sets especially when you seated across a long sectional to the sides of the TV. Vertical viewing angle also excellent, the picture showed no change in color, contrast, and black level when viewing the image from above or below eye level to the screen. Unlike some LED TVs, the screen surface is glossy and dark, so it does a good job reducing glare from ambient light, a nearby lamp or window. The LG 65EF9500 also comes with LG’s TruMotion which designed to reduce motion blur, a shortcoming of most LCD TVs.
Delivers full 4K picture detail, along with very good HD to UHD upscaling. This model also supports video streaming of 4K programs like Netflix with clean and finely image detailed. You can be using the TV’s USB port to play 4K videos stored on your flash drive in the MP4, HEVC, and VP9 formats. All HDMI inputs comply with the latest HDCP 2.2 and HDMI 2.0 specifications for both copy protection and 4K video playback at 60Hz for compatibility with 4K movie playback devices.
Good sound quality, generally clear and natural sounding, while remaining well balanced with respect to background music and other sounds. Bass extension was decent and treble was nicely detailed which added some fullness to the sound. This model has a good volume range, an acceptable sound quality that the TVs should play in typical room environments.
Easy to setting up, the menu is easy to understand, on-screen menu is easy to navigate. The remote has a dedicated button to access 3D. I like the LG remote’s that designed major function buttons with sufficiently large and high-contrast labeling, making them easier to see and navigate. This TV includes three HDMI inputs, three USB ports, optical digital audio out, an Ethernet port, and of course Wi-Fi.
